Revenue-Based Financing: Repay as You Earn

Revenue-based financing (RBF) provides upfront capital in exchange for a fixed percentage of future monthly revenue until a total repayment cap — typically 1.1x to 1.5x the amount funded — is reached. Payments rise and fall with revenue, making RBF popular with ecommerce and SaaS companies with recurring sales.

What is a revenue-based financing?

RBF is similar in concept to an MCA but is usually remitted monthly from total revenue rather than daily from card sales, and is common for online and subscription businesses.

Providers connect to your payment processor, bank or ecommerce platform to evaluate revenue trends.
